Jerseys Pub & Grub

Today we had lunch at Jersey's and it took an hour took about 30-40 minutes to receive the appetizer and another 30 minutes after that to receive the main course. I wish I could say this was due to a lunch rush but the restaurant was at maybe 25% capacity. My biggest disappointment was the lack of communication from staff on why it was taking so long it felt like our table was ignored until I locked eyes with the waitress and probably had a disconcerting look on my face. The reason for the delay was an apparent problem with the ability to cook our chicken fully. I appreciate not wanting to serve us under-cooked poultry, but when the meal finally came the meat was room temperature and didn't give us a overwhelming feeling of comfortably eating the food. The food tasted good I did eat it but with this review being so fresh this could be pending some unknown "after effects". My review bumps to a solid 4 if there would have been up front and honest communication from staff once they knew our meal would be delayed. If I was employed by a less flexible workplace I would have had to stand up and leave to ensure I got back from break on time without a meal. I've eaten here a few times before and must say this is apart from the usual so I would still encourage other patrons to try them out. Meal included - Pulled Pork Nachos (appetizer) 2 x Breaded Chicken Wrap (late entree) Children's cheeseburger slider meal.

Walked in and bartender immediately said some very unnecessary comments because the last time I was there my card didnt go through because a fraud issues so I asked what that was about and asked to speak to a manager. Remind you I paid for everything always and never go in there only like a few times every 3 months because I live close! So the manager came out high and couldn’t even hold a conversation with me at all! She basically just kicked me out and said I’m not welcome back there! 😂. Don’t go there! I’ve seen the whole staff using drugs and it was the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever experienced! Won’t ever go back!
